With more and more people being able to afford automobiles every year, the car market in India is blooming.Automakers are also engaged in a constant race releasing new or face lifted cars every now and then to prove their worth.Let us explore some of the upcoming cars.

The country’s favourite automaker is working hard to make a name in the compact SUV segment. Maruti may release soon a compact SUV codenamed YBA. It is expected to be pretty affordable car between Rs 5-8 lakhs. Following the huge success of the MPV Eritga, Maruti is also planning to bring in the automatic version of the same in the country.

Ford plans to bring in its internationally acclaimed sports car – the Ford Mustang by November 2015. It will be offered here as single V6 coupe variant in a price range of Rs 40-45 lakhs. The next generation Ford Endeavour New is expected to make its debut in India by the third or fourth quarter of 2015. There is also a Ford Figo Aspire sedan ready to be launched, which already made its debut at the 2014 Delhi Motor Show. This car will mark Ford’s entry into this newly risen segment.

The Jazz new is a reliable car forthcoming from the Honda stable.Unlike before, there will be a diesel engine this time.Honda is also planning to bring the new Vezel into the country which was unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show this year.The Vezel may be offered at Rs 7-15 lakhs.

Another much expected launch is the Hyundai New Tucson which is also known as iX35 in international markets. This sedan will be positioned in the premium SUV segment at Rs 18-20 lakhs.The new car i30 is the latest addition to the Hyundai’s successful ‘i’ range of cars. It will be longer and wider than the i10 and 120. Hyundai New Elantra is another car expected to be launched by the end of the year.

Skoda is planning to bring a new car into the hatchback segment named Citigo.This launch is very important as Skoda has virtually no cars in the hatchback segment here.The third generation of Skoda Octavia, which was launched in the international markets a couple of years ago, might also find its way to India by the end of the year.

The executive segment also will see some new arrivals. Jaguar is planning its next potential hit for the Indian markets in the form of a compact sports sedan, which has been christened, Jaguar XE. Fiat is planning to launch the first car with Abarth tag here – the Fiat 500 Abarth. BMW also is ready to launch the very luxurious BMW X4 by August this year.
